The three mail articles are complete, yesterday I added the installation of dspam, the self learning spam protection. I use this on my own site several years now, it really works well.

DSPAM results

This graph shows the results of my private server of the last weeks. A lot of mail from friends is white listed, for the rest dspam has to decide.

In the Home Server article series the mail server and delivery articles are finally ready. The mail server is a multi-instance postfix setup. Mail delivery is the done with dovecot LDA. Users can fetch mail from the server using the IMAP protocol.

Dovecot is installed with pigeonhole for sieve message filtering. It is also setup for private, public and shared malboxes.
